The UK’s first dairy-free kids yoghurt tubes go on sale at Ocado supermarket.
Nush in a Rush are soya-free, nut milk yoghurts that are aimed at children and anyone who wants a tasty vegan snack on the go.
Lunchboxes will never be the same again
Fortified with probiotics, the yoghurts come in strawberry and blueberry flavours, are made up of nut milk containing 20% almonds and are free from refined sugar.
The Nush In A Rush yoghurt is fortified with probiotic cultures, which are aged with the almond milk during the production process, supporting gut health.
Each tube is vegan, free from refined sugar, gluten, soya, preservatives and additives and is comprised of whole ingredients.
The yoghurt tubes cost £2.99 with five 40g packages in a box, available at Ocado and Whole Foods Market.
With the unofficial number of vegans in the UK at 7%, it is also further evidence of the maturing dairy-free category and growing demand for free-from products, with the category now worth £806.1 million.
A spokesperson for Nush says: “We are delighted to launch the UK’s first dairy-free yoghurt tubes created from the finest almond milk yoghurt. Demand for innovative dairy-free and on-the-go offerings has never been so high and now consumers can harness the delicious taste of Nush in a spoon-free and convenient format.”
