Ingredients

  • 4 Portobello Mushrooms
  • Balsamic Vinegar - 4 tbsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Dried mixed herbs - 1/2 tbsp
  • Minced garlic (or finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
  • Burger Buns
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl (minus the mushrooms) to create your marinade.
  2. Place mushrooms with top side facing up in a tray or dish and pour a little of the marinade onto them. Then flip the mushrooms over and pour the rest of the marinade over them. Cover and leave in the fridge for half an hour.
  3. The mushrooms are now ready for BBQ-ing. They won’t need much cooking, roughly 5 minutes on each side, but keep an eye on them.
  4. Serve the cooked mushrooms in a bun with your favourite vegan cheese, tomato and salad. They have an amazing flavour so don’t go crazy with your burger sauces.
