Ingredients

  • Frozen Strawberries (or any berries) - 1 cup
  • Chia Seeds - 3 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
  • Natural Sweetener (try and use a light coloured one) - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 1/3 cup

Instructions

  1. Put the frozen strawberries in a bowl and allow them to defrost.
  2. Once defrosted, mash with a fork.
  3. Add the chia seeds, lemon juice, sweetener and water.
  4. Mix and put in the refrigerator to set.
  5. Give it one last stir before serving. At this point, you can add more chia seeds to the mix to make it thicker or add more natural sweetener to make it sweeter.
  6. Store your jam in an airtight jar in the fridge and it should last up to one week.
