Some meals in this life just aren’t perfect until you add a dollop of your favourite sauce to the plate, and garlic mayo is probably the queen of sauces.
In recent times we have seen some positive advancements in the vegan mayonnaise market and we are thankfully moving away from the runny sour stuff that was around a few years ago towards sauce like the ones we remember from our childhoods. And thanks to those guys at Moodley Manor we can now get garlic mayo that even vegetarians would buy.
For an unbiased opinion on this product we turn to two of the Vegan Food UK Taste Panel members to test it out and see if it’s up to par.
Kim: “Back in the day, fries and garlic mayo was my go-to after a night out, I was buzzing to see it veganized.”
“The mayo is very creamy, with the perfect kick of garlic, the consistency was a good thickness and not too runny. Definitely a product I will buy again. Keen to try it with a veggie burger or with a pitta and salad next.”
Linda: “The whole family loved it. It is the best vegan mayo we have tasted and it disappeared way too quickly. It’s definitely creamy with no unpleasant aftertaste that some vegan mayos have (not mentioning them here).”
“Good taste of garlic but not overwhelming. Perfect with chips or in a vegan sausage sandwich. My only problem – the jar should be 4 times the size!”
Vegan Food UK cannot recommend this product enough. Yes it’s comfort food, and it’s advertised on the jar that it’s good ‘on chips’, but everyone deserves to treat themselves once in a while. If you are going to do it, do it properly! This 3AM Garlic Mayo is the cat’s pyjamas.
