You will not believe how much this tastes just like the runny egg yolk you used to dip toasted soldiers into - obviously this plant-based version is better though! Simple, few ingredients and easy to make. Kids also love it.

Ingredients

2 tbsp Cornflour

1 cup Water

2 tbsp Olive Oil

2 tsp Nutritional Yeast

3/4 tsp Black Salt

1/4 tsp Turmeric

Directions

1Put the cornflour into a bowl, add the water and whisk.

2Pour mixture into a saucepan and place on a low heat.

3Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.

4When the sauce starts to thicken, take it off the heat. You are aiming for a slightly gloopy consistency to resemble egg yolk. Be warned it will get super thick, super quick!

5Pour into your vegan egg cups and serve with toasted bread soldiers.Dip away!
