Spring is finally here and as always a whole wave of awesome vegan food products have been released in the UK. Below we have picked our Top 5.
1. The new hazelnut chocolate from M&S
It has been hailed as the new Vego bar and has been driving vegans crazy since its release this last month. With an almost milk-like chocolate and tons of hazelnuts, what’s not to like? You can grab your own Gianduja bar from Marks & Spencer for £1.50
2. Oumph vegan meats
Priced at £3.49 and going on sale at over 400 Tesco stores across the UK, this Swedish company has made some really nice soya based, frozen meats for us to choose from including: kebab style, pulled pork and chicken. Fill your freezers, quick!
3. The dairy-free Goodfella’s pizza
One of the most famous frozen pizza producers have finally brought out a vegan pizza. What’s amazing is they haven’t included vegan cheese, but instead lots of falafel, peppers, harissa and hummus. The classic sandwich combo actually goes quite well on top of a stonebaked pizza! This is all for just £2.50 at Sainsbury’s
4. Swedish Glace: Coconut & Passion Fruit Twist Tub; Caramel Toffee Cones; Vanilla & Strawberry Swirl Cones
Swedish Glace has to be one of the UK’s favourite ice creams and it will at some point be getting warmer in the UK, so what better way to celebrate than with a load of new dairy-free ice creams available at Tesco and Ocado.
5. Cumberland Quorn Sausages
How can six little sausages cause such chaos in the UK? You will be lucky to find any Cumberland Quorn sausages as bangers & mash seem to be on everyone’s menu at the moment. But when the surge dies down a bit, these new sausages are pretty good. Available at Tesco for £2.50
