Quality Food Awards praise ASDA on their vegan offerings
Asda has been awarded the best supermarket for vegan products from the ‘Quality Food Awards 2021’. This is awarded to the supermarket that offers the best products in different categories.
Judges from expert backgrounds took time over choosing the leading supermarket, and ASDA came on top for their free from range, retailer of the year and bakery retailer of the year.
ASDA especially got praise for their own-brand Vegan Christmas wreath which is available in-store this Christmas.
Other popular ASDA own brand items include but aren’t limited to; Meat-free burgers, No-Zarella sticks, Meat-free sausages, Free from chocolate and Free-From cheese.
Vice President of ASDA own brand, Sam Dickson, said ‘At Asda, we strive to give all of our customers the very best, no matter their dietary requirement or preference. So, winning Vegan and Free From Retailer of the Year is a real seal of approval for us.’
Dickson also said, ‘As we head into December, these awards really are the icing on our Christmas cake.’
