The UK’s most popular animal activist announces the opening of his all new not-for profit vegan diner.
Earthling Ed is the co-founder of the animal rights organisation ‘Surge’ and his latest project is a plant-based cafe called Unity Diner in East London where all profits will go to vegan campaigns.
Feel Good Food
Ed told his 120,000 Instagram followers that within a year of the cafe being open they hope to be able to run large scale vegan advertising campaigns across London and hopefully the rest of the UK.
On the menu at the diner are some modern takes on old classics, such as vegan ‘chicken’ pancake stacks, cherry pie, brownies and tofish bites.
Earthling Ed said: “I honestly can’t believe that this is really happening and I can’t believe we’ve finally managed to put this all together after over a year of figuring this thing out.”
He continued: “I constantly need to be working on project after project and I’m so excited and to be honest, quite unable to believe that this is the next big thing that I’m doing”
The Surge Organisation are set to unveil more news in the coming months, with talks of opening an animal sanctuary, producing more animal activism documentaries and becoming an officially registered UK charity.
Unity Diner is set to open in Hoxton, East London, very very soon. In the meantime you can follow its progress on Instagram.
