Co-founders of La Fauxmagerie, Rachel and Charlotte Stevens.

La Fauxmagerie (clever name) opens its doors today in Brixton and is claimed to be the first vegan cheesemongers in the UK.

Welsh sisters and owners, Charlotte and Rachel Stevens, are behind the new London venture.

The shop stocks only plant-based artisan cheese, such as Tyne Chease, Kinda Co. and Black Arts Vegan. They will also be selling vegan accompaniments like crackers & chutney.

Our aim is to bring the most delicious cheeses together in one place, so that those going dairy-free needn’t compromise on flavour nor variety.”

Rachel Stevens, Co-founder of La Fauxmagerie

You can find La Fauxmagerie on 4th Avenue, Brixton Village, London. Open Wednesday to Sunday. More information can be found on their website.
