You may even be able to get away with using just four ingredients for these if you manage to find ultra sweet bananas and then leave out the maple syrup.
We use peanut butter to stodge these baked treats up, but you can use any nut butter that has the same consistency.
Milled flax seeds are another ingredient that we use mainly because it’s a healthy way of adding some omega 3 to your brownies and adding some cake-iness to the slice, otherwise it will be very sticky indeed. We strongly recommend you getting milled flax seeds in the cupboard (in an airtight jar) as they can be added to everything and cost very little. Best place to look for them is a health food shop.
