  1. I usually love all things M&S so was quite disappointed with these hot dogs. The sausages were very firm, almost rubbery with not a lot of flavour. The chorizo flavouring was unrecognisable. Not something I would purchase again. Such a shame as their plant kitchen range is very good.

  2. Strongly disagree with Deb on this. The sausages are stunning (I am not even vegan/vegetarian). Full of flavour and certainly do taste like chorizo. Supper yummy only wish they were bigger!

  3. Tried these sausages once before and loved them so went for this:
Heated a glug of olive oil in a large frying pan. Roughly chopped a pack of sausages, added them to the pan and sauteed on a medium heat for 5 minutes whilst finely chopping a medium red onion and 2 cloves of garlic from the garden and one red pepper cut into fine strips. Added the chopped onion, garlic, pepper with a tsp of salt and a tsp of sweet smoked paprika to the pan and stirred it for a minute or two. Added 4 handfuls of brown basmati rice and gave it all a good stir for a minute then glugged in a good glassful of dry white wine and a good squeeze from a tube of tomato puree. Another good stir. Added hot water until everything in the pan was barely covered and continued on a very low simmer with the occasional stir until the rice was cooked and most of the liquid had been absorbed – about half an hour. I realise that at this point I should have included something green but we were so hungry that we bypassed that part! It was delicious 😀
