Pret’s Autumn Vegan Menu Launches Today

Pret a’ Manger launch their new Autumn vegan menu today and on it are some nice, warming, plant based treats.

As we move into the colder months, many of our favourite high street cafes will start changing their menus to foods that are more comforting and warming. Pret is no exception to this and today they officially launch their new vegan menu.

Pumpkin Spice Flat White £2.75 (ask for non-dairy milk)

This drink will undoubtedly be a show-stopper this fall as we know Pret do amazing things with their coffee. Make sure that you ask for this drink with rice, soya or coconut milk to make it vegan.

Butternut Squash and Dhansak Soup £3.45 (vegan)

Butternut Dhansak Soup

Rich with coconut cream and chunks of butternut squash, this dhansak of green lentils, mung
beans and yellow split peas is lightly spiced with turmeric, coriander, cumin and a hint of chilli.

Vegan Chilli Soup £3.45 (vegan)

Vegan Chilli Soup

This vegan chilli combines three beans (black turtle beans, red kidney beans and black eyed
beans), peppers, sweetcorn, brown rice and quinoa to create a rich, deep chilli with notes of
ancho chilli, cocoa, Jalapeno chilli and a hint of lime.

Kale, Lentil and Roasted Spice Soup £3.45 (vegan)

Kale, Lentil & Roasted Spices Soup

A lightly spiced lentil soup with hints of cumin, coriander and smoked paprika. Simmered with
red lentils, curly kale and lemon zest for a hearty vegan soup.


Two popular vegan Chef’s Specials will return to Pret’s fridges for a month from Tuesday 3rd
October, following a Facebook competition.

A vegan salad wrap with the flavours of South America: creamy avocado covered with
chipotle chickpeas, charred corn & black bean salsa and topped with fresh coriander and

There you have it, what a good looking list of vegan food, and it’s nice to see the return of some old favourites.
