One packet of vegan Pork Strips (We used Omni Pork Strips, now available at Sainsburys)
1/4 Cup Sriracha
3 Tbsp Syrup of choice (We used Agave)
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Half a Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tsp Minced Garlic
2 Tsp Sesame Oil plus extra for frying
1/2 Tsp Crushed Chilli Flakes
2 Tbso Cornflour
Sesame Seeds, Chopped Spring Onions, Rice and Edamame Beans to serve
Directions
1Start by placing the Siracha, Syrup, Soy Sauce, Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Sesame Oil, and Crushed Chillis into a bowl, mix and place to the side
2Now, open your packet of vegan pork strips into a bowl and sprinkle the cornflour on top.
3Use your hands to evenly coat the strip with the flour.
4In an oiled pan, on medium heat, add the pork strips and fry until they go a light brown colour and are slightly crispy.
5When ready, add the Firecracker sauce mix and stir. Simmer on medium heat for a few minutes. The sauce should reduce and start to stick to the pork strips.
6When ready, serve on a bed of rice with edamame beans.
7Sprinkle the chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
