Purezza pizza and oven

The UK’s first all vegan pizzeria is opening a second restaurant

Purezza was the first all-vegan pizzeria to open in the UK and now they have just confirmed that they will be opening up a second restaurant in London.

People of Brighton have been spoilt since November 2015 when the UK’s first completely plant-based pizzeria opened. Now Purezza have just announced that they will be opening another restaurant in Camden, London.

Purezza specialise in making quality vegan pizzas in a modern Italian restaurant setting. They serve all different authentic homemade pizza bases (including amazing wholegrain sourdough and gluten free), topped with their homemade plant-based mozarella cheese, fired in front of you in an incredible pizza oven.

We are on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we can create with plants.

Set to open in February 2018, the new Camden restaurant holds 100 diners over two floors and is just two minutes walk from the tube station. It will continue with the amazing vegan Italian menu, so people can expect fantastic vegan artisan cheeses, meats and there is even an incredible raw menu.

Co-owner Stefania Evangelisti told VFoodUK:  “London is a hub for both great food and innovation, meaning a London based Purezza has always been an ambition of ours. We are on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we can create with plants.”

Vegan Food UK‘s Purezza menu favourites are the four cheese pizza and the raw Tiramisu – once tried, never forgotten.

Purezza may one day be a household name as the owners have plans to open up branches of their restaurant in cities across the UK; this could potentially be the UK’s first vegan chain restaurant – let’s hope so!
