A cafe specialising in vegan doughnuts has opened in Wales.

A new cafe has opened in Bridgend and it only serves vegan coffee, bagels, and doughnuts.

The new cafe is called Cheap Thrills Coffee Company, who opened their doors on the Bridgend Industrial Estate in October.

Friendship duo Scott Magill, 31, and Ryan Jenkins, 24, set up the establishment because of their love for vegan food and coffee.

Jenkins previously ran another coffee shop in Aberkenfig and Magill runs his own clothing company in Bridgend called Who Clothing.

Nuts about doughnuts

Magill is a massive coffee lover, and when he realised he had some space at his unit he thought it would be a great idea to bring in his mate and do something he’s always been passionate about

Co-owner, Scott Magill, said: “I had some space and asked Ryan if he would like to do something with me so we opened up a coffee shop and made vegan doughnuts. Being vegan myself, I realised there was nowhere local you could get vegan food.”

Their amazing looking doughnuts currently include flavours such as Oreo Crunch, Biscoff, The Homer, and Peanut Butter. The pair hope to experiment with other recipes and develop more flavours as the business grows.

Cheap Thrills is located at Unit 1D, Kingsway Buildings, Bridgend Ind Est, Bridgend, and is open between 10am and 4pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
