The voting for the Vegan Food UK Awards 2018 is over and it’s time to reveal the winners.
The second annual Vegan Food UK Awards took place recently and it was the biggest and best yet!
A whopping 30,577 votes were cast in this year’s awards, which is a huge increase compared to last year’s 9000 votes.

What makes the awards unique is that voters can nominate any company/product they choose for everyone else to vote on.
Voting this year took place via Live Polls in the Vegan Food UK Facebook group, which is the largest vegan group in the UK. Here are the winners:
Best Vegan Pizza – Zizzi’s
Most Vegan Friendly Chain Cafe – Pret a’ Manger
Best Supermarket for Vegan Food – Sainsbury’s
Best Vegan Burger – No Bull, Iceland
Most Vegan Friendly Town/City for Vegans – London
Best Vegan Cheese – Violife Cheddar
Best Vegan Food Range – Fry’s Family Foods
Most Vegan Friendly Chain Restaurant – Wagamama
Best Vegan Sandwich – No Turkey Feast by Marks & Spencer
Best Accidentally Vegan Product – Co-op Doughnuts
Small Business Award – Baked, Sheffield
Co-founder of Vegan Food UK, Janine Day, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to see so many UK vegans voting this year, it goes to show how many amazing vegan food products there have been.”
She continued: “There have been some shocks and surprises, but the winners definitely deserve the prizes for the best vegan foods of 2018.”
