Native Snacks, a UK based company, have announced the launch of the popular snack in two varieties.
Promoted on their website and social media as ‘The world’s first vegan prawn crackers’, the snacks are being launched in Original Prawn Flavour and Sweet Chilli flavour under the name Pr*wn Crackers.
The new snack is vegan society approved and comes in a 60g sharing size bag. Native Pr*wn Crackers are heading into the vegan bay of 222 ASDA stores from October the 4th at the price of £1.60.
Made from tapioca flour the crackers are gluten-free, and 100% natural with no artificial flavours, colours or MSG.
They are also under 99 calories and have 25% less fat than a standard pack of crisps.
Native Snacks, founded in 2019, currently produce a snack range of Popped Lotus Seeds in three flavours, Sweet Chilli, Salt & Vinegar, and Sea Salt & Pepper. All of which come in 20g bags.
Native Snacks current range is stocked in Sainsbury’s, and Holland and Barrett as well as independent and online retailers.
