Co-op Announce Their Veganuary Food Line-Up

Co-op will be extending its plant-based offer this January – nearly doubling the choice available to plant-based shoppers.

From a winter-warming spiced pie to Asian-inspired noodles, 18 new lines will join the retailer’s GRO range from Wednesday 6th January

Here’s what’s on offer:

GRO Sizzle Steaks (2s/200g, £3.00)
Tender, marinated vegan steaks made with shrooms & plant protein

GRO Linguine Meatball Marinara (350g, £2.95)
Linguine pasta with a mildly spiced tomato sauce, ‘shroom meatballs, SunBlush® tomatoes, vegan mozzarella and parsley.

GRO Mushroom & Spinach Wellington (2s/426g)
A mushroom and seitan base, topped with a coconut oil-based sauce, spinach and sliced portabella mushrooms, wrapped in puff pastry and sprinkled with pine nuts.

GRO Chick’n Kievs (2s/260g, £3.00)
Made with tasty plant protein and a roast garlic filling coated in a crunchy breadcrumb coating

GRO Vegan Pies (4s/200g)
Seasoned filling made with soya protein, onion and potato in a crispy baked pastry

GRO Arrabbiata Ravioli (300g, £2.80)
Gluten-free pasta parcels filled with tomato, chilli. Dress with olive oil. Serves 2. Gluten free

GRO Spiced Squash & Cauliflower Pie (175g, £2.50)
Butternut squash, cauliflower, chick peas and spinach in a spicy coconut milk sauce encased in shortcrust pastry with a crumble topping. 

GRO Roots Rostis (2s/238g, £2.50)
Vibrant root vegetable rostis topped with a creamy butternut puree and dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds.

GRO Teriyaki Mushroom Noodles (380g, £2.95)
Teriyaki mushroom noodles with roasted ‘shrooms, leafy choi sum, soya beans & spring onions.
