Vegan Sticky Toffee Pudding

This dessert will blow you away! With just 6 ingredients and 30 mins in the oven, this simple recipe will fill that sticky toffee shaped hole in your life very easily! Try it with butterscotch sauce and ice cream for a real treat!
Directions
1bring the pitted dates to a simmer in the water.
2Once simmering, add the bicarbonate of soda
3blitz 100g walnuts in a food processor and set aside
4blitz the date mixture and set aside
5blitz the butter and sugar together
6add the walnuts and date mixture back in with the buttery sugar and combine
7add the self raising flour (can be gluten free if you wish) and combine [if you can’t find GF SR flour then use plain gluten free flour and add 2 tsp baking powder]
8pour mixture into a grease proof paper lined dish and bake at 180°c for 30 minutes
