Londoners are in for a vegan treat as Heura give out free festive sandwiches.
From the 9th-14th of December, Heura is giving away 5000 free Christmas sandwiches. It will be a pop up in Covent garden and open from 11 am – 7 pm.
Heura’s Turkey alternative is with a rosemary and thyme seasoning, cranberry infused mayonnaise, Parmentier potatoes, Heura ‘sausage’, crispy onions, pickled red cabbage and mushroom gravy.
The company launched in 2017 in Barcelona and is now Europe’s fastest-growing 100% plant-based meat company. The ingredients are original and inspired by the Mediterranean. Especially the olive oil, which has a clean label, high nutritional value and great taste.

For every one hundred vegan sandwiches consumed, one pig and six chickens are saved. As well as 0.51kg of CO2 emissions, 506L of water, 1.32m sq of land and 0.45kg of cereals and soy.
