Naturally Fast-Food brand LEON announces the expansion of its range with the launch of plant based  salads and soups, created to enjoy at home.

Perfect for convenient, plant-rich, work from home meals. LEON is introducing hot and cold single-serve lunch options that are ready to eat at home. The three new meal soups and three new salads take their inspiration and flavour combinations from the LEON restaurant menu through the years.

All three new rainbow soups are completely vegan and gluten-free. The flavours are Curried Coconut & Sweet Potato Rainbow Soup (380g @ £2.25). Roasted Tomato & Harissa (380g @ £2.25) and British Pea & Pesto  (380g @ £2.25).

One of the two new vegan salads that have launched is a Kale Caesar Pasta Salad (£3.50) which is shredded kale, Riccioli pasta, vegan parmesan shavings and LEON’s very own creamy-vegan Caesar dressing all topped with tamari-roasted seeds for bite.

The other vegan salad is the Brazilian Black Bean Salad (250g £3.50) which is made using black rice, red quinoa, black turtle beans and sweetcorn. All tossed in a smoked-aioli dressing, topped with chipotle roasted sweet potato chunks.

The Greens & Grains Salad (250g @ £3.50), is vegetarian.  This is made with broccoli florets, sweet garden peas, cucumber slices & edamame beans are topped with pumpkin seeds, and feta cubes – finished with a vinaigrette.

The new LEON salads and soups are available from the 22nd of September and for three weeks until October 12th save 30p off the RRP at selected Sainsbury’s supermarket stores nationwide.

Let us know which dishes from LEON are your favourite and which of these soups or salads you are looking forward to trying the most.
