Creamy Future Farm Chick’n & Mushroom Pie

Ingredients

1 pack Future Farm chick'n

100g mushrooms

1/2 pot vegan cream (we find that Elmlea plant works well)

1-2 cloves garlic

1/2 white onion

Salt & pepper to taste

1 roll vegan friendly puff pastry

1 tbsp corn flour, mixed with a little water to create a slurry

Directions

1Cook your chopped onion and minced garlic to a frying pan with a little oil. Add in your Future Farm chick'n and mushrooms and season to taste. Add in your cream and corn flour slurry and stir until the sauce thickens.

2Cool the pie filling and in the meantime cut your pastry into suitable sized circles for your pie dish. (We find that reusing old store bought pie cases works really well.) Line your pie dish or foil dishes and fill with your cooled mushroom and chick'n filling. Top with pastry and crimp the edges. Cook at 180 degrees celcius for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.

3Remove from the oven and cool slightly before digging in.
