Nasi Goreng is one of our favourite Indonesian meals, and you won't be disappointed with this simple but tasty version.
Fried rice, plant-based meat alternatives and vegetables! We use a beef mince alternative in this recipe, but feel free to use what you feel: mushrooms maybe?
1Preheat a pan over high heat then add the chilli, garlic, lemongrass and tomato puree, and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring often.
2Then add the Future Farm Mince and continue to cook over high heat until just starting to caramelise. Then add the vegetables and cook everything over high heat until just tender.
3Add the cooked rice and continue to stir fry for 3-4 minutes to make sure everything is nice and hot. Stir in the Kecap Menis & cashew nuts and stir together until the rice is coated in all the flavours, then turn off the heat.
4Served the Nasi Goreng with a generous drizzle of Kecap Manis, crispy fried shallots, crushed cashews and spring onions.
