Sainsbury’s have brought out a ‘No Goose Fat’ jar for Christmas, but it’s just rebranded coconut oil!?
Sainsbury’s have released a vegan goose fat alternative in their Plant Pioneers range. However, Vegan Food UK followers have spotted a shockingly similar product in stores.
Someone commented on the Vegan Food UK Instagram page that they ‘Just see what is likely to be an overpriced jar of coconut oil‘, and they’re not entirely wrong. The new ‘No Goose Fat’ is £1.20 per 100 grams ( Approx 109ml), whilst the regular coconut oil is £1.03 per 100ml.
The confusion continues as someone else comments, ‘is this not just coconut oil in a festive wrapper?’. This follower might’ve hit the nail on the head. The ingredients are solely coconut oil but with a Christmas themed label.
Although Christmas themed products typically go down well, most people see right through this one.
