‘It’s the warm hug you need nursing a hangover’ – Swegan Kitchen serves up a unique Scandinavian menu in the UK
Swegan Kitchen has opened a new fast-food takeaway in Chesire to bring more traditional Scandinavian food to the vegan food scene.
The Take-away company is hoping to be at London markets soon and has recently bought a horsebox to attend festivals and events. They serve a Scandinavian twist on the classic burger as well as truffle fries, malmö balls with homemade jam, loaded fries and of course the Tunnbrödsrulle. There is also a selection of small sweet options and ‘shakes’.
When interviewing Hanna, The owner of Swegan, she expressed how she came from London where there is an abundance of vegan options but Chesire didn’t live up to the requirements of modern-day Vegans.
Hanna also said, ‘You see a lot of Scandinavian interior design, so it’s only a matter of time before the cuisine gets popular!’.
