UK supermarket set to bring out the first Vegan salmon and cheese Christmas starter
Morrisons have just launched a vegan take on the traditional salmon and cheese starter in time for Christmas. The starter is available online now and in stores nationwide from the 22nd of December.
With a coconut base of soft vegan cheese, basil marinated potatoes, leafy spinach, caper berries and sweet pepper pearls, topped off with delicate ribbons of vegan salmon.
The Vegan salmon is made using thinly sliced smoked carrots covered in sushi nori and dressed in rapeseed oil, cider vinegar, mirin and smoked paprika for four days, giving it the traditional salmon taste and texture.
