Patak’s launches Plant Based Range set to spice up veggie dishes with an explosion of flavour

Patak’s new Plant Based sauces and meal kits are set to bring veg to life, encouraging meat-free mealtimes with no compromise on flavour.

The new Patak’s Plant Based cooking sauces are a blend of Indian spices, tomatoes, and lentils to create rich, daal-style curry sauces. The instructions could not be easier as you simply pour over vegetables and simmer for 20-minutes, easy right?

The new exciting products in this range are:

    • Lentil Tikka Masala
    • Lentil Korma
    • Lentil Jalfrezi

These products will be available to purchase online through Ocado and in Sainsbury’s stores from 17th October 2021 and in Tesco and Co-op stores from November 2021 (RRP: £1.89 per 345g).

Patak’s have also released Plant Based Meal Kits which aim to recreate authentic and delicious Indian meals in three easy steps. Patak’s has created kits for a perfect plant-based daal or biryani. Each kit contains a unique spice paste to ensure a delicious, hearty dish every time, and a sachet of crispy onions to sprinkle on top.

The range consists of:

  • Mild & Aromatic Biryani Meal Kit
  • Korma Spiced Daal Meal Kit
  • Hot & Spicy Biryani Meal Kit

These products will be available to purchase online through Ocado and in Sainsbury’s stores from 17th October 2021 and in Co-op stores from November 2021 (RRP: £2.89 per meal kit, serves 2).

Offering a fresh perspective on mid-week dinners, the range covers the classic flavours consumers know and love about Indian cuisine, as well as on pack recipes for inspiration outside of the norm to keep mealtimes interesting.

Both the sauces and meal kits contain no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives, and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
