The pizza chain has announced the opening of a special vegan pop-up restaurant in Aldwych, London.
The pizzeria on The Strand will be operating a fully plant-based menu from now and throughout autumn this year which is great news for vegan pizza fans.
The pizza express vegan menu is packed with new plant-based goodies. The pizza options include the new Sloppy Vegan, which features Quorn pieces with green pepper, red onion, tomato, smoky chilli, garlic oil, vegan mozzarella alternative and parsley, The American Jack, with smoky jackfruit ‘pepperoni’ and tomato with vegan mozzarella alternative, and the Vegan Ad Astra, Quorn Pieces, sweet red pepper, cajun spice, red onion, tomato, garlic oil, and vegan mozzarella alternative.
The menu also features classics like the Vegan Giardiniera, Vegan Padana, and the Vegan Veneziana.
For sides and snacks, they have also launched Hot Jalapeno Dough Balls, dough balls coated in spices, hot jalapeno salsa and parsley with a spicy salsa dip. Raw Slaw, crunchy white & red cabbage, carrot, red onion and parsley in a new house dressing as well as the original Garlic Bread with Vegan Mozzarella Alternative, Vegan Dough Balls ‘PizzaExpress’, Marinated Green Olives, and Slow-Roasted Tomatoes.
The dessert menu features Strawberries & Chocolate Dipping Sauce, a selection of sorbet and an Orange & Carrot Cake.
A selection of teas and coffees are also available along with soya milk.
Vegan Food UK shared the story on Instagram today and consumers are excited. One user commented ‘Thats just incredible‘ and another said ‘Amazing, well done the future is vegan’.
